IBM and AWS Announcement
IBM today announced a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to launch Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) for Db2, aimed at optimising data management for AI workloads. This new offering, unveiled at AWS re:Invent 2023, simplifies the management of AI-driven data by automating essential database administrative tasks such as provisioning, backups, and monitoring.
